An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 was described close to Delhi on Friday evening, in accordance to India’s National Centre for Seismology.
The epicentre of the very first earthquake was 60 km southwest of Gurgaon in Haryana, the company claimed.
The earthquake struck at 7:00:50 PM IST at a depth of 35 km from the area.
Robust tremors have been felt in Delhi and bordering areas for a number of seconds.
Delhi Main Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “Mild earthquake tremors ended up felt in Delhi some time in the past. Hope you are all harmless, take care of by yourself.”
