In a main shakeup of the law enforcement force in Maharashtra’s cash Mumbai, 10 deputy commissioners of police (DCP) were transferred by the Mumbai Law enforcement Commissioner Param Bir Singh. He experienced assumed cost in February and considering that then this is the greatest reshuffle.

Current DCP (Detection) Shahaji Umap was moved as DCP (Distinctive Department-I), when DCP (Functions) and Mumbai Police spokesperson Pranaya Ashok was posted as DCP (Zone V), which has jurisdiction about Dadar, Mahim and Dharavi. The emptiness in central Mumbai was made after DCP Niyati Thacker joined the Intelligence Bureau as a joint deputy director.
Nandkumar Thakur DCP (Neighborhood Arms Tardeo) was transferred as DCP (Headquarters-I). Previously, DCP (Headquarters-I) N Ambika was posted as the new DCP (Zone III) after her predecessor, Abhinash Kumar, was presented a central deputation.
Eight transfers out of the whole 10 now stand cancelled.
