
The girls from Apex Sports Authority Cheer and Dance will be venturing out next Sunday, October 28, 2012, to perform and compete in the local Pop Warner Championships. The competition and exhibition begin at 1 p.m. at Broughton High School in Raleigh. Admission to the event is $10.
This year Apex will send four cheer teams and its first dance team to the competition. The younger squads at the Tiny Mite (5-7) and Mighty Mite (7-9) division will be performing their exhibition routines while the Junior Pee Wee (8-10) and Junior Midget (10-12) teams will be competing for a spot at the Regional Championships, also being held in Raleigh.
The Consolidated Football Federation (CFF) is the local NC triangle area Pop Warner Little Scholars League. The CFF is made up of 15 individual Member Associations representing 5 local counties. In 2011 the CFF was comprised of approximately 3,900 young student athletes. Apex fans are invitied to attend the event and support ASA cheer and dance teams on Sunday.
