Apex High School helds its annual homecoming parade last week in downtown Apex. The parade included members of the homecoming court, the marching band, cheerleaders and floats prepared by each class and various clubs. Pictured here is the parade’s grand marshall, Apex Town Councilman Scott Lassiter, who played a key role as student council president in getting the parade restarted in 2005 after a 12-year absence. Also pictured are members of the homecoming court and band.
