He was born in Chatham County, NC on October 22, 1970, to Billy Ray Holland and Dianne Wood Holland.
In addition to his parents, Billy Ray is survived by his paternal grandparents Ellwood and Belle Holland of New Hill, several Aunts and Uncles, and his family at Howells Child Care Center at Walnut Creek. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Daniel and Alice Wood, his Aunt Donna King, and Uncles Timothy Holland and Donald Wood.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, January 13, 2010, in the Apex Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Howells Childcare Center, Inc., 5079 Hwy 70E, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
