Gregory Vineyards Harvest Festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 1 from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. at McGee’s Crossroads, 275 Bowling Spring Road in Angier.

There will be complimentary music by Broken Road Band and a book signing will be held by Cary resident C. Gilbert Lowery, author of “The Untold Experiences of a Navy Corpsman,” which won two medals last year from the Military Writers Association of America.

Lowery was a Navy corpsman who served on several top secret missions into North Korea in the late 1950s looking for American prisoners of war. His incredible story appeared in The Apex Herald last year.

Autographed copies of the book will be available in hardcover and softcover.

Gregory Vineyard wines and juices will be available for purchase along with White Swan BBQ plates.
