New Hill – Beryl Alexander Brown, 73, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 11, 2011. A Graveside Service was held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Olive Chapel Baptist Church, 600 New Hill Olive Chapel Road, Apex, NC. The family received friends in the fellowship hall after the service.

Beryl was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a custom cabinet maker whose attention to detail and craftsmanship will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-one and a half years, Mary Holland Brown; son, Mark Alexander Brown and wife, Michelle of Chapel Hill; daughter, Traci B. Nunn and husband, Tommy of Apex; brothers, Billy Brown of Durham, and Richard Brown and wife, Jackie of Durham; seven grandchildren, Tiffany Brown, Brittany West, Amber West, Shelley Brown, Joshua Brown, Ethan and Erica Nunn; two great grandchildren, Ella and Ava.
