Where can you take a vacation without leaving town?

Syeni Salon & Day Spa is certainly a good place to start.

Whether you are a bride and her attendants getting ready for the big day or you just need to pamper yourself for no special reason, Syeni offers plenty of options.

Syeni Salon & Day Spa is where old world Mediterranean style and the antiquity of the Tobacco & Mule Exchange located in Historic Downtown Apex come together. The exposed beams, ceilings, and wooden floors take you to times past.

The furnishings and features blend historic and modern into a very inviting atmosphere. Syeni's relaxation room is decorated with beaded and embroidered fabrics from Turkey that make it a welcoming retreat. All of the traditional services are offered for men and women, but with an added twist, which makes this salon and spa so unique.

Owned by Sarah McAllister, the salon and spa offers many services that can be enjoyed one appointment at a time or during a day of planned relaxation.

There is an executive style barbershop for a rejuvenating scalp massage, hot towel and classic shave, topped off with an adult beverage, while watching your favorite game on one of our two flat screen TVs. Their pedicure room is lavishly designed with custom tile work and glass whirlpool bowls, quite a beautiful setting for revitalizing tired feet.

Syeni offers extensive services for couples preparing to get married. “We want to treat the bride to her special day,” McAllister said. “It’s important that their day is special and it flows.

Couples can spend a day of relaxing with a massage, manicures, pedicures, wraps and more. Planning a day of beauty with bridal party is also popular. They will do a practice run with the bride to plan for the special day and McAllister’s stylists also provide off-site services. They also offer discounts and specials for bridal couples.

McAllister takes pride in providing the most beauty services using the least amount of chemicals as possible. The Salon is working hard at going green and using more natural products for beauty treatments. She has studied plant medicine and healing plants. “People don’t understand how important our plants are,” she said. “We’re definitely going green.”
