Cary Ballet Company hosts an annual event called “Celebration of Children in the Arts”. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at Cary Ballet Conservatory, 3791 NW Cary Parkway (near Preston Corners). This event is open to the public free of charge and features local youth in many different art fields. There will be continuous performing groups including ethic dance, instrumental music, magic and a ballet demonstration. Hands-On crafts such as pumpkin and gourd painting, bracelet making, etc. will be for the taking. Visual art from local area schools will be displayed on our walls through the end of the month. The Celebration is 2:30 - 5 p.m. that Saturday. Come rain or shine!
