On Saturday, September 29, residents will get an opportunity to enjoy games, music and homemade ethnic foods from around the globe. St. Ann Catholic Church in Clayton will host their 5th Annual International Food Festival and will have 19 countries represented this year.

All food at the festival is prepared and served by the parishioners of St. Ann Church, a parish proud of its diverse heritage. Four new food venues will join this year’s event - France, Jamaica, Nigeria and Peru. Returning groups include El Salvador, Greece, Honduras, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, The Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Thailand, USA and Vietnam.

At $3.00 a plate, you’ll want to sample a variety of dishes—and don’t forget to stop by the International Dessert booth to finish off your culinary experience.

Free entertainment will be provided throughout the day by a variety of local talent. Enjoy the steel drum music of Mickey Mills, Celtic tunes of Barrowburn, the drumming group Rhythmicity and more. Café tents with tables and chairs will be located throughout the festival to provide a relaxing place to enjoy the food, music and dance. There will be a roped off “Kids Games” area where children will have the opportunity to win prizes.

Festival admission and parking are free. St. Ann’s Church is located at 4057 US 70 Business West, Clayton. Look for the flags marking the venues of their respective countries. A free festival guide will be given to each patron to map out all food booth locations, highlight the menu choices and provide the entertainment schedule for the day.
