Meghan Ashlee Ricks and Kenneth Jason Savage were married on September 8, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. at Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church in Fuquay-Varina, N.C. A reception followed at Bentwinds Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Richard S. Ricks III of Sanford, N.C., and Ms. Cindy Alexander of Holly Springs, N.C. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Jimmy Lee Tilley, the late Mrs. Ann Tilley, Mrs. Betty Tilley of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., the late Mr. Richard S. Ricks II, and Mrs. Ola Lee Ricks of Goldsboro, N.C.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ray Savage of Kenansville, N.C. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mark Denwood Savage of Warsaw, N.C., the late Mr. Norman Jack Grady and Mrs. Etta Hall Grady of Magnolia, N.C.

The bride was escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents. The Matron of Honor was the sister of the groom, Mrs. Melissa Savage Trujillo of Clarksburg, Md. Bridesmaids were Amanda Sue Daugherty of Garner, N.C., Christa Callis Bunce of Holly Springs, N.C., both friends of the bride, Erica Brown Edwards of Beulaville, N.C., cousin of the groom, and Rebecca JoCarole Rogers of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., cousin of the bride. Honorary bridesmaids were Billie Jean Rogers of Clayton, N.C., Leigh Ann Rogers of Clayton, N.C., both cousins of the bride, Kelsey Dianne Brown of Rose Hill, N.C., cousin of the groom, and Robin Kilpatrick Mewborn of Kenansville, N.C., friend of the bride.

The Best Man was the father of the groom, Mr. Kenneth Ray Savage of Kenansville, N.C. Groomsmen were Wesley Alexander Mewborn of Kenansville, N.C., Chad Ryan Beasley of Pittsboro, N.C., James Brandon Davis of Clayton, N.C., all friends of the groom, and Andrew Hunter Alexander of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., brother of the bride. Wesley Daneel Butler of Charlotte, N.C., cousin of the bride, served as an usher.

Pianist Mrs. Shelia Jackson and soloist Amanda Daugherty performed at the ceremony. Mrs. Betty Dickens and Mrs. Renee Lewis were the wedding directors. Wedding photography was provided by AJ Dunlap Photography of Raleigh, N.C.

The bride is a graduate of Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, N.C. She is a pediatric nurse at Raleigh Pediatrics. The groom graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelors of Science in Construction Engineering and Management, where he also received his Masters of Civil Engineering. He is employed at McKim and Creed, Inc. in Raleigh, N.C.

After the honeymoon in St. Lucia, the newlyweds reside in Willow Spring, N.C.
