The community response to the launch of Apex’s new private music academy has been so great, that the school’s enrollment capacity for its piano lessons program has been reached. The Apex community’s desire to train musicians has propelled the Jordan Academy for the Performing Arts forward since its launch on June 15.

Christopher A. Reed, the Academy’s instructor and Director of Music at Jordan Lutheran Church, is a professional pianist who also maintains an active performing schedule in the community.

“Apex’s response to the Jordan Academy has been tremendous – we had no idea how many people would inquire about piano lessons,” said Reed. “We knew we would be meeting a need in our community – which is our first and foremost objective as a music school. We just didn’t realize at the time how great a need that was in Apex. It is encouraging to see how many students and families are interested in our private lessons program, and we are very thankful and committed to all our current students. We wouldn’t exist without them.”

While the Jordan Academy is operating at its’ capacity for the summer term, it will have additional openings for new piano students at the beginning of its’ regular fall semester.

Students and families interested in fall semester lessons at Jordan Academy can obtain more information by phone (919) 303-1613 or email music@jordanchurchnc.org.
