Annabell Nance Fryar, 91, of Apex, died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Rex Rehab and Nursing Care of Apex.
Mrs. Fryar was born on May 20, 1918 in Columbus Co. NC to Charles Nance and Mary Bell Singletary.
Mrs. Fryar is survived by her daughters: Claudia Clayton of Apex, and Mary Lou Breedlove of Apex; grandchildren: Tink Clayton, Mary Jo Yates, Pete Phillips, and Ann Sehulster; great grandchildren: Kristal Smith, Grey Sehulster, Jack Sehulster, Noah Anderson, and Austin Phillips; sisters: Molly Chicelli of Lumberton, and Blanche McRae of Maxton.
She is also survived by her extended family: Jerry Lindsey, Kenneth Fish, Clydie Lewter, Roscoe Fryar and wife Bertha Fryar, Ruby Kelly, Mary Nance, Lou Herndon and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fryar is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Thomas Fryar, Jr; daughter, Joanne Johnson, and grandson, Wayne Williams.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, August 18, 2009 in the Chapel of Apex Funeral Home. Burial was in Apex Cemetery.
