The Holly Springs Art Council is hosting the "Dog Days of Art" festival in downtown Holly Springs. This free community event will be a fun day of live music, local artists and dogs. Bands will include Daniel Sean and Steve Harvell, the ambient sounds of Hendecatope, and rocking music of 3 Feet up! Local artists from the Western Wake Artists Studio Tour will be on hand as well other local artists. Including award winner Jackie Schaefer and local star Marty Mathews. Vendors will be on hand with hotdogs and drinks which the proceeds goes to support the Holly Springs Art Council. Starting at 11am there will be a dog parade around the town sponsored Farmers Market. The Parade will be followed by a pet trick demonstration. Join the HSAC for a fun day of live music, art and dogs.
