Emma Ruth Walton, 81, of Apex, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at Wake Med of Cary. Mrs. Walton was born June 26, 1928 in Wake County to Marvin G. Wimberley and Ruth Mason. She is survived by her daughter Bernadette Walton of Apex and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00a.m., Friday, August 28, 2009, in the Chapel of , 550 W. Williams St. (Hwy 55), Apex.

A funeral service was held Friday, August 28 at Apex Funeral Homewith Rev. Tim Shaw officiating. Burial was be in Olive Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Apex.
