The Peak City Film Festival - Family Style wants you! Volunteers are needed for a variety of jobs to make the event a success. The jobs run the gamut from data entry to stagehands to security and festival usher/greeters to behind the scenes personnel.
“The citizens of Apex will make the Peak City Film Festival a success,” said John M. Demers, Executive Producer of the festival. “I have had a number of business owners and families tell me how exciting November 20-22 is going to be.”
The producers and staff of the Festival have planned an event promising to be second to none ever seen in this area. They have seen it accepted wholeheartedly by the town council, and embraced by the rest of Apex as well. Now they look forward to working directly with the people of Apex.
“I spend a lot of time in historic downtown Apex just talking to people about the project,” said Bob Crowley, Producer of the event. “The level of interest and excitement I feel from everyone is electrifying. I am eager to start working with these people on the event now.”
A number of tasks need to be done for the Festival, and many happen now long before is held the weekend prior to Thanksgiving. The organizers have found ways to use the numerous skills and talents of volunteers already signed up and look forward to working with more people in the community. Volunteers of any age are welcome.
Festival management is also seeking more local and individual sponsors to support the event further. Sponsorships will be posted to the website and on the sponsor list displayed at all venues. At higher levels, sponsors will appear on banners, posters, and other publicity. Even those unable to volunteer time and effort can still support the festival by becoming a sponsor for $50 or more.
