Rogers Insurance Agency held an Open House on September 11 at their office located at 512 W. Williams St.

Current owner Glenn Jones, recognized Brenda Steen from Apex Chamber of Commerce; Keith Weatherly Mayor of Apex; Chris McLeod, Stewart Powell, and Royce Henderson representatives of the Independent Insurance Agents of NC by presentation of letters of appreciation for the important role each of them had in the success of the agency.

He told each of them that Rogers Insurance Agency is blessed to be in business in the Town of Apex and appreciate their guidance and leadership in assisting Rogers Insurance Agency to be in business for 100 years.

In 1909, in the small town of Apex, Rogers Insurance Agency was started by Mr. S.S. Rogers. The company grew and was handed down to his son, George T. Rogers and his wife Emma in 1932. They actively ran the agency together for over 40 years, and their legacy continues today under the current ownership which the Agency in September 1981.

Over the years, the agency has grown into a viable local business that currently provides employment for sixteen employees and their families.

Rogers Insurance Agency is a long time member of the Independent Agents Association and operates as a local independent agency, serving customers in the Apex, Cary and Wake County area, as well as several niche markets statewide.
