Take a visual tour from Betty Ann’s “Hibernation” pastel of Bass Lake through “Tropical Window” and two contrasting florals. Her “Iris” silk batik was painted from local flowers. The detailed watercolor “October at the Spring” shows the actual springs in the wooded area adjacent to the church and Cultural Center behind Town Hall in downtown Holly Springs. Betty Ann works in watercolor, pastel, silk batik, and is beginning to explore acrylic painting. Packler’s art work is featured through March 31 at The Nature of Art in Sunset Lake Commons, 5229 Sunset Lake Road in Holly Springs. Friday, April 9 is the next Art After Dark, the free monthly art walk in Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina.
