Charity Golf Tourney With more than 163 million orphans around the world, Bethany Christian Services, the nation’s largest adoption agency, is dedicated to finding loving homes for children. To that end, the non-profit organization’s branch in Raleigh is hosting its fifth annual Bethany Open – a local golf event raising money to assist with infant and older child adoption services, counseling for women facing unplanned pregnancies, and support for couples struggling with infertility – on Monday, October 11 at beautiful Devil’s Ridge Golf Club in Holly Springs. Corporate and individual teams are welcome at the Bethany Open. Great prizes will be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place teams, as well as to the longest drive, closest-to-the-pin, and closest-to-the-line. Entry is $75 per person, which includes a round of golf, free use of driving range, golf cart, goodie bag, continental breakfast and catered lunch. Pastors and associate pastors play for free. Check in for the Bethany Open is 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. on October 11, with a shotgun start scheduled for 8:30 a.m. For more information on the event or how to make a donation to combat the world orphan crisis, please contact Bethany’s Raleigh office at 919-510-9511.
